The official calls are published in Portuguese only. This page lists, in English, the calls, credit lines and tax deadlines that matter to companies, in order of closing date: what each one funds, the rate, whether it is a grant, a loan or a tax credit, and a link to the official source.
Each entry shows the date on which we last checked it against that source. A call that has passed its deadline stays on the list, marked as closed, until the next review.

PEPAC
2nd call to set up producer groups and organisations (Ministerial Order 213/2024/1). Applications from 25 June until 17:00 on 25 September 2026.

Call ALGARVE-2026-8, with EUR 500,000. Collective internationalisation actions for the Algarve, run by business associations and other non-profit bodies. Companies take part through them and do not apply themselves.

Permanent, full-time hiring of people registered with IEFP: EUR 6,445.56 under +Emprego and EUR 9,668.34 under Emprego +Talento, with uplifts of 35% each, up to four. Register the job offer on iefponline before signing the contract. Applications run until 15 December 2026 or until the budget is used up. The first 2026 application period of the internship measures (INICIAR and +Talento) closed on 30 July.

A programme for public bodies and non-profit entities. A company only qualifies with a social innovation project of value to tourism, with non-repayable support of up to EUR 200,000. Base rate of 60%, plus 20 points in low-density territories and 10 points under a Collective Efficiency Strategy.

Call ALGARVE-2026-5, with EUR 5 million. Micro and small companies in industry and in the areas of the regional strategy (sea economy, local resources, cultural and creative industries, health and wellbeing, environmental sustainability, digitalisation and ICT). Next phases on 30 October 2026 and 15 January 2027.

Calls CENTRO2030-2026-13 and 14, with EUR 10 million in total. Part of the cost of hiring graduates, masters and PhDs is paid to micro, small and medium-sized companies in the Centro region, with separate budgets for low-density territories and the rest.

Credit against corporate tax for research and development costs. The application for the 2026 financial year goes to ANI by 31 May 2027, a deadline that is not extended. The one for 2025 closed on 31 May 2026.
Tax credit
Credit against corporate tax for investment in productive assets. No call and no application: it is claimed on the Modelo 22 corporate tax return for the year, filed by 31 May of the following year, with the tax file prepared.
Turismo de Portugal
An interest-free loan from Turismo de Portugal, with a bank component, for up to 80% of the eligible investment of tourism companies. Part of it may not have to be repaid: a performance premium on the Turismo de Portugal part of the loan, of 25% for SMEs and 5% for other companies, plus 10 points with the Sustainability Leader label. In the Algarve, applications until 31 December 2026.

Most calls come back, often once a year, and the annual plan of calls says roughly when. The months in between are when a strong application gets prepared. Tell us about the project and we tell you which call to aim for.
